The ministry of Ambassadors for Christ (AFC) is to spread the good news of the gospel as Christ's ambassadors and to establish indigenous churches throughout Honduras. We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God. (2 Cor. 5:20)
As ambassadors, we are representing Christ to a world that otherwise may not know him. This is an incredibly important and powerful job, and something that should ignite a fire in our hearts. As a Christian, you are an ambassador for Christ. That is: one who represents Christ. Just as an earthly ambassador represents and communicates the desires and will of the head of state that sent him or her, so are you to represent and communicate the desires and will of Christ to others. What a huge responsibility to be an ambassador, let alone an ambassador for Christ. Ambassadors are people who represent others or causes and speak on their behalf.
